Silver continues to be volatile again on Tuesday, as we see a lot of questions asked of the global markets.
Markets struggled to settle on a single narrative today as investors weighed conflicting geopolitical headlines alongside a range of regional developments. Reports that mediators had proposed a 10-day ceasefire between Washington and Tehran initially offered hope that last month's Memorandum of Understanding could be revived.
AUD/USD is attempting to register a fourth consecutive weekly advance after rebounding more than 2% from the June lows, bringing the pair back into a major technical inflection zone. The recovery is now testing the upper bounds of a multi-month downtrend, where multiple resistance levels converge.
Gold rose around 1.5% on Tuesday as fresh signals of diplomatic action to de-escalate US-Iran war cooled inflation risks and expected to ease pressure on the US central bank.
Gold managed to pass above the resistance of 4050-60 with signs of more advance yet to come. As we see from the chart, prices face support around 4020-40, where as long as prices hold above, more advance towards 4100 and 4200 will be likely.
As we see from our previous chart, USDJPY managed to pass above the short-term resistance zone of 161.95 which shows a strong advance still ongoing. Prices fell toward 160.50-70 on the suspected intervention before bouncing back.
GBPUSD managed to pass above the resistance of 1.3430 to meet the target of 1.3510 and above. As we see from the chart, a chance for a trading zone between support 1.3320-50 and resistance 1.3555 could hold the market.
EURUSD is still holding above the Intraday support at 1.1380 while managing to advance toward 1.1481 so far. Traders need to watch the support of 1.1380 as the market still has a chance to move higher.
