3D Systems Corporation, operating globally across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions, specializes in delivering advanced 3D printing and digital manufacturing solutions. Its product portfolio includes a diverse array of 3D printers utilizing technologies like stereolithography, selective laser sintering, direct metal printing, multi-jet printing, color jet printing, extrusion, and SLA-based bioprinting. These systems are designed to convert digital input, sourced from 3D design software, CAD programs, or other digital modeling tools, into tangible physical components. Beyond hardware, the company formulates, produces, and distributes an extensive selection of print materials, encompassing plastics, nylon, metals, composites, elastomers, waxes, polymeric dental compounds, and biocompatible substances. Under its Geomagic brand, 3D Systems supplies a suite of digital design tools, which includes specialized software, scanners, and haptic devices. These offerings facilitate a broad spectrum of applications such as product design, simulation, mold and die creation, 3D scan-to-print workflows, reverse engineering, production machining, metrology, inspection, and comprehensive manufacturing process management. Proprietary software solutions are also a core offering. This includes 3D Sprint and 3DXpert, platforms engineered to streamline CAD data preparation and optimization, as well as overseeing additive manufacturing processes through features like automated support generation, build platform oversight, print simulation, and queue management. Additionally, Bioprint Pro serves as a dedicated software solution empowering researchers to design and execute reproducible bioprinting experiments. The corporation further extends its value proposition through a range of services, including maintenance, technical training, contract manufacturing, software support, and precision healthcare solutions. Its clientele spans a wide spectrum, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large corporations, across numerous sectors such as medical, dental, automotive, aerospace, defense, technology, durable goods, government, jewelry, electronics, education, consumer products, energy, and biotechnology. Sales and distribution are managed via a direct sales force, strategic channel partners, and authorized distributors. Established in 1986, 3D Systems Corporation maintains its corporate headquarters in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
