EnPro Industries, Inc. is a global enterprise focused on the development, manufacturing, sales, and support of advanced industrial components. Its operations span the United States, Europe, and numerous other international regions. The company's business activities are structured into three primary divisions: Sealing Technologies, Advanced Surface Technologies, and Engineered Materials. The Sealing Technologies segment delivers a wide array of sealing solutions. These include hygienic seals, tubing, and complete assemblies for single-use applications; various gaskets fabricated from metallic, non-metallic, or composite materials; compression packing; hydraulic parts; expansion joints; and products for wall penetration. It also supplies an extensive selection of mechanical seals, such as dynamic, flange, resilient metal, elastomeric, and custom-designed types. These essential products cater to a multitude of heavy industries, including chemical and petrochemical processing, pulp and paper production, power generation, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, primary metal production, mining, water and waste management, heavy-duty transportation, aerospace, medical equipment, filtration, and semiconductor fabrication. This segment further provides sterile fluid transfer products specifically for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. The Advanced Surface Technologies division offers specialized services like cleaning, precision coating, thorough testing, refurbishment, and validation for crucial components and assemblies. These services are predominantly applied to equipment utilized in semiconductor manufacturing, as well as critical systems in the space, aerospace, and defense sectors. Additionally, this segment crafts custom optical filters and innovative thin-film coatings, which are employed across industrial technology, life sciences, and semiconductor markets. Lastly, the Engineered Materials segment is dedicated to producing a range of high-performance bearing products. This encompasses self-lubricating, non-rolling, metal polymer, engineered plastics, and fiber-reinforced composite bearings. These components are vital for diverse applications in industries such as automotive, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, natural gas, healthcare, power generation, machine tools, air treatment, refining, petrochemical, and general industrial markets. EnPro Industries, Inc. was established in 2002 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.
