This underlying index is constructed using a market-capitalization weighting methodology, adjusted for free float (publicly traded shares), and consists of stocks from financially developed European nations and regions. Specifically, these include: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
