Rogers Communications Inc., a prominent Canadian telecommunications and media conglomerate, structures its diverse operations across three core divisions: Wireless, Cable, and Media. In its Wireless segment, Rogers caters to approximately 11.3 million subscribers through its Rogers, Fido, and chatr brands. This division offers an extensive range of mobile services, including internet access, traditional and enhanced voice communication, wireless home phone, and global voice and data roaming. Customers also benefit from device and accessory financing, device protection plans, email, and convenient device delivery services. Furthermore, Rogers provides specialized wireless solutions for businesses, encompassing machine-to-machine (M2M) connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, and landline bridging. The Cable division delivers high-speed internet and comprehensive WiFi services. It also features advanced smart home monitoring solutions, empowering users to manage security, automation, energy efficiency, and other controls conveniently via a dedicated smartphone application. Rogers' television offerings within this segment are broad, featuring local and network channels, on-demand content, and both cloud-based and personal video recorders (PVRs). It supports linear and time-shifted viewing, provides access to digital specialty channels and 4K programming, and incorporates modern features like voice-activated remote controls and integrated applications. The Ignite TV platform and its accompanying app enable content consumption across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and personal computers. Beyond consumer offerings, Rogers serves residential and small business clients with local telephony services, complete with calling features such as voicemail, call waiting, and long-distance. For larger enterprises, it delivers sophisticated voice, data networking, and internet protocol (IP) services, including Ethernet, private networking, IP voice, and cloud-based solutions. Advanced network technologies like optical wave and multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) are also part of its portfolio, alongside general IT and network technology support and cable access network services. Rogers' Media division represents a significant part of its enterprise. It notably owns the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team and the Rogers Centre event venue. The company also operates a wide array of television networks, such as Sportsnet ONE, Sportsnet 360, Sportsnet World, Citytv, OMNI, FX (Canada), FXX (Canada), and OLN. Additionally, Rogers maintains a substantial presence in radio, managing 55 AM and FM stations. Established in 1960, Rogers Communications Inc. is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
