This investment vehicle strives to have its per-share net asset value (NAV) fluctuate daily by three times the percentage change of a specific short-term futures contract for light, sweet crude oil, after accounting for its expenses. Its manager, USCF, endeavors to maintain the fund's total notional exposure to this benchmark oil futures contract at approximately 300% of its NAV at the close of every trading session. The benchmark in question is the "CL" symbol for WTI Crude Oil futures, a contract for light, sweet crude oil traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).
