Within its Investment, Risk and Reinsurance unit, the company offers investment consulting and discretionary management, primarily for insurance and reinsurance companies. This segment's comprehensive offerings also include insurance consulting and technology, sophisticated risk and capital management, advanced pricing and predictive modeling, financial and regulatory reporting, financial and capital modeling, merger and acquisition support, outsourcing, and broader business management services. Additionally, it facilitates wholesale insurance broking for both retail and wholesale brokers, alongside specialized services in underwriting, capital management, capital markets, and advisory and brokerage. The Benefits Delivery and Administration segment specializes in facilitating primary medical and supplementary benefit exchanges, as well as outsourcing services for both active employees and retirees across group and individual markets. This includes the management of various healthcare and reimbursement accounts, such as health savings accounts (HSAs), health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), and other consumer-driven accounts. Founded in 1828, the company was formerly known as Willis Group Holdings Public Limited Company before adopting its current name, Willis Towers Watson Public Limited Company, in January 2016. Its headquarters are located in London, United Kingdom.
